My Experience with Lancome Vernis In Love 250N Beige Poudre Nail Polish:
The nail polish comes in a silver carton box. The nail polish is small, and hardly anything is written on it. The shade name can be found at the bottom of the nail polish. The Lancome symbol can be found on the top of the cap and the bottle. The package is pretty basic. The glass bottle is very sturdy and has a rectangular black cap. The screw cap is very tight, and the product is travel-friendly. I have been tossing this bottle in nooks and corners of my bag, from last 2 months, and except for a few scratches, the bottle is thick and sturdy. The quality of the brush is very superior and it makes the application of the nail polish easy. The brush looks flat and I can easily use it to cover the corners of the nails without any issues.
Beige Poudre, like the name suggests, is a darker shade of beige. It is a neutral shade and I was amazed by the neutral shade range that Lancome offers. I have a wheatish-brown skin tone and most of the neutral colors are a big failure on my nails, but this shade with a little pinkish undertone, won my heart, and it suits my skin tone very well. The color is opaque and a single coat can give you the necessary pigment. The nail polish provides a very smooth finish and is very glossy. With a flash, the color looked very radiant.
The nail polish consistency is neither too thick nor too thin, it is perfect and allows even and streak-free application. The finish is glossy and gel like. The nail polish also dries pretty fast. One of the best things, I feel, is that the longevity of this nail polish was worth the price. The nail polish, without a base and top coat, lasts for more than a week on my nails and doesn’t even chip off. I struggle with brittle nails and with frequent application of nail polishes, the nails need extra care but I have been using this nail polish every time for more than a month now, and I have noticed that my nails are looking good without any issues, and I guess that is also a positive point of investing in a good brand. The color does not stain and can also be removed easily.
The only negative point, I have about this nail polish, is the quantity it offers for the price. Other than that, the range Vernis in Love is a must have in your stash.
